Blessing Bags

For the last several summers we've been doing a service project we call "Blessing Bags".  Thanks to the many folks who donated their money and time, each year we have been able to assemble 150 necessity kits, or "Blessing Bags", for our neighbors experiencing homelessness, domestic abuse, and other difficult life situations.

We're going to repeat this justice project again this summer.  Here you'll find a list of the items included in the bags.  As you go about life for the next few months, look for bargains.  Ask your dermatologist or other healthcare professionals if their practice could donate sunscreen samples.  See if you have friends or neighbors who might like to contribute or come help pack bags.  We will assemble the kits during Mass on June 7, July (Date TBD), and August 2.
